Happy Fall

Birthday wishes and thank yous are the theme for this month's newsletter. Here's hoping that we have a wonderful autumn. This summer Lincoln Park was hit with 2 tornados one of them only two blocks from my house....pretty unusual and a lot frightening. I am feeling pretty lonely since Amy has left but I enjoyed her visit immensely! No more visitors scheduled for the near future.

Wishing Mikey a very Happy birthday! Now that he has reached the great age of 25 can we start calling him Mike? Happy days!

Had such a great time while Amy was here. We had several big projects and lots of small ones too. When I say we, I mean that Amy did all the work!  We went out for lunch and a few dinners as well.

Old Friends

Mike met up with his old high school friend Matt Stein. There is nothing like a old friendship! Matt is a guitar roady  and travels the country in the summer months and was recently in Kansas city.

Thankful

Thanks to my family I am able to maintain my house and property. I'm just taking this opportunity to thank everyone that helped out this year. 

April

Thank you John for coming to visit me and for the numerous hauls up and down the basement steps and for setting up my WiFi extender.

May

Allison and Jacob spent a whole week with me. Thanks guys for all the yard work, planting, porch clean up and porch set up. All your work was so appreciated!

July

Mike and Sean spent the most smokiest time with me in July. Working thru the intense wildfire smoke and excruciating high temperatures, Mike did so much yard work and maintenance. A thank you just doesn't seem enough. Thanks Sean for all that you did and for setting up my new phone.

September

Two weeks Amy spent with me and got so much done inside and out. I so appreciate everything that you did that is all too numerous to name. Yard work, cleaning, laundry, shopping, going to Sams Club with me, and helping me spend money on Temu! You are the energizing bunny!

All Year

Thanks to Tim and Kim who come to help me all year round! Whether it's trimming, weeding or anything else I need done it is all so appreciated. A special thanks for the after the storm clean up....what a mess that was.

School Days

Well school has started and I found this cute picture of little Sean getting on the school bus for his first day of school.
