What a beautiful picture of the Capitol building with the moon behind it. It's hard to believe the goings on inside and even more hard to fathom is the January 6th inserection.

Saying goodbye

Archives
When I was in high school it was cool to belong to a club. Our club was called the Bop Teens. I know it sounds silly but the bop was a popular dance then and we named ourselves after it. We had meetings and did things together. One summer we rented a cottage at Lake Milton. Nancy's Mom was chaparon. We had a great time and Gail met her husband there (on the beach). From left is Marion, Nancy, Marlene, Gail, Rebecca, me, and my best friend Kay. Picture was taken by my Uncle Tom about 64 years ago.

Be sure to keep scrolling to check out the post below and see you next month!

Happy to have you!

I loved having Amy, Allison and Jacob here to visit! I can't thank them enough for all the help, all the hard work plus just making my life a lot easier for a week. Of course it was not all work and no play. Take a look at all the photos to see what they did while they were here. A lot was squeezed into one week. The photos do not include all the trips to the river to see the Great Lake freighters at night, trips to the Dairy Queen, walks around the neighborhood in the evening, the drive to visit old haunts, the cemetery, Motown Museum and all the great meals....thank you Jacob for the great encilatis and Takeshi for sending curry. Love you guys!
