Carney Family Newsletter March

Happy Spring
(I think)

Thank you to everyone that responded to my plea for family news!
I have a great newsletter this month...yea!

Did you know:
~ that Takeshi turned 50 Friday?
~that Sean and Mikey have already had their spring break....done and dusted
~that Allison has her first paying photography job....what to charge, what to charge?
~that Liam made the Freshmen baseball team?
~that Emma is the editor-in-chief of the Athens High school paper?
~that John is attached to his new computer by an umbilical cord?
Yes, all true (not fake) news.

Happy 50th Birthday Takeshi
You sure don't look 50 to me. Hope that you had a great day and best wishes on this monumental birthday!

The Party boy
Mikey always seems to be having a party at the Carney house.
This is party #1

 Party #2

Emma at Work.

21 Pilots
Allison and friend Hana in Charleston at a 21 Pilots concert.

Rain Gear
Sean all ready to check out the big storm

Art Exhibit

Allison was chosen to enter her photograph in an exhibit "Youth Art Month" Shown below with her art teacher.

John at His Post
John and his new computer....I heard that he has to be fed with a feeding tube :-) because he won't leave his station.

High School Musical
Just saw the play at Emma's school and it was wonderful and so much fun. All the kids did a great job. I posted lots of pictures.....just scroll down after the newsletter....there is even a video!

Sneaker Convention
...in Cleveland. Liam and friends attended this convention and it looks packed. Sneakers galore and there were shoes to buy and swap. I never knew there was such a thing but if you are into shoes (as Liam is) this was the place to be.

Throw back..........
I am puzzling over this picture because I'm not sure where it was taken. I thought that it was a big pile of sand in the back yard in Waltz but the background looks unfamiliar. I remember Mike spending hours with his Tonka trucks (that Joe bought at Salvation Army) excavating and moving the dirt around.  This must have been the first summer after we moved in. Any ideas Mike?????

Hope springs eternal and spring will come when it's ready no matter how hard we pray

I'm not going to SC until May this year. Very excited because Amy got me a villa at Pirateland for a week so I will be a stone's throw from the beach. Really looking forward to that.
Keep the news and pictures coming in.....I really appreciate it. Until next month.
