Carney Family Newsletter for August 2020

 Open???

Well, it's been a busy news month and there is a lot to report. First, everyone is well except Emma who still is suffering from a cough (negative for Covid). I think that everyone is making the most of summer considering the circumstances. School is another thing....will we open or won't we open, if we do open how long will we stay open? Things that we could rely on no longer are a sure thing. Lots of news so let's get on with it.

Happy Birthday to Me!

 Thank you Tim and Sarah for lunch at the country club! And thank you Liam for joining us. Also thank you for all the gifts and birthday wishes. A special shout out to Mike for his gift of the Donald Trump toilet bowl brush....I will really enjoy using it!

    And a cause for celebration! and they actually had a graduation ceremony! I got to watch it live on the school's website.  Mikey looks proud of himself.

Home on Leave

Sean was home to celebrate his girlfriend's graduation and his brother's graduation.

The Prom that Wasn't

At Athens the official prom was cancelled so some of the parents decided to have a prom for the kids. Right before the event some of the kids tested positive for Covid and it was cancelled.....too bad. Some very nice photos though.

Summer Vacation

Tim and Sarah at Acadia National Park.  After visiting Sarah's friend in New Hampshire they traveled to Booths Bay, Bar Harbor and ate lots of Lobster.
