What a beautiful picture of the Capitol building with the moon behind it. It's hard to believe the goings on inside and even more hard to fathom is the January 6th inserection.

Saying goodbye

Archives
When I was in high school it was cool to belong to a club. Our club was called the Bop Teens. I know it sounds silly but the bop was a popular dance then and we named ourselves after it. We had meetings and did things together. One summer we rented a cottage at Lake Milton. Nancy's Mom was chaparon. We had a great time and Gail met her husband there (on the beach). From left is Marion, Nancy, Marlene, Gail, Rebecca, me, and my best friend Kay. Picture was taken by my Uncle Tom about 64 years ago.

Be sure to keep scrolling to check out the post below and see you next month!

Happy to have you!

I loved having Amy, Allison and Jacob here to visit! I can't thank them enough for all the help, all the hard work plus just making my life a lot easier for a week. Of course it was not all work and no play. Take a look at all the photos to see what they did while they were here. A lot was squeezed into one week. The photos do not include all the trips to the river to see the Great Lake freighters at night, trips to the Dairy Queen, walks around the neighborhood in the evening, the drive to visit old haunts, the cemetery, Motown Museum and all the great meals....thank you Jacob for the great encilatis and Takeshi for sending curry. Love you guys!

Carney Family Newsletter for September

 Ready for Fall you'all

There sits Ginger taking in the neighborhood sights and enjoying the fall- like weather.

Lots of things happening right now. Mike and Twin are in Washington DC to see Sean graduate from Marine Corp guard school and to celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary. To get the story with lots of pictures keep scrolling after the newsletter....find out what country Sean will be stationed to.               I'm looking forward to Amy's visit coming up soon. She will fly in on Oct. 10th and Allison and Jacob will drive here arriving that Friday. Lots of plans afoot...... can't wait to see them.                                    Well, the acorns are heavy this year and my yard is filled with squirrels and Blue Jays. I wonder if that predicts a harsh winter. Let's get on with the news.

Happy Birthday

Wishing Mikey a very happy birthday....22 years old! The time sure does fly by.

Also sending birthday wishes to Liam. I hope that you had a great day. I came across these fun pictures of these guys and couldn't resist posting them.
