 Alway be Grateful

For the last 40 + years I have been an independent woman in most respects but now that old age has taken over my life, I need help. My neighbor, Patty, cleans my house and neighbor, Bill, mows my grass but that still leaves a lot undone. So, what I'm saying is, it's time for some big  thank yous. Firstly to Amy, who handled Allstate Insurance to get my money for my tree removal and to Tim, Liam and Kim for totally giving my backyard and garage a makeover. I so appreciate you guys. I also want to thank the whole Mitsuoka family for their hospitality, generosity and kindness. I had a lovely time in SC. It seems that I can't thank you all enough. I had the best time and was able to hobble around Brookgreen, almost get to the beach, had many, many fabulous meals and had great conversation and laughs. 

Enough of all the sentiment, let's get on with the news.

The jigsaw puzzle challenge.....I bought this puzzle thinking that I along with everyone else would work on it but I soon discovered that I had no talent for it. 

Everyone worked on the puzzle at one time or another.

The Chicken

Ate breakfast twice and the dinner buffet twice.....enjoyed them all!

A visit to Pirateland where Amy "borrowed" a deluxe golf cart. We got ice cream.This was the closest that I got to the ocean. That's Takeshi way out there.

Carney Family Newsletter for March

 

Today is full of possibilities!

It seems that the theme for this month's newsletter is travel, as you shall see. Speaking of travel, I leave in a week to fly to sunny South Carolina....can't wait! It will be so good to see everyone, visit to the beach, feel the sunshine on my face and have a whole three weeks with no appointments....yeah!           My tree is gone and the front yard looks pretty good but the back yard is still torn up. Tim and Liam have "volunteered" to fix it up while I am gone.....thank you guys. So, let's move on to this month's news.
