Carney Family Newsletter for March

Today is full of possibilities!

It seems that the theme for this month's newsletter is travel, as you shall see. Speaking of travel, I leave in a week to fly to sunny South Carolina....can't wait! It will be so good to see everyone, visit to the beach, feel the sunshine on my face and have a whole three weeks with no appointments....yeah!           My tree is gone and the front yard looks pretty good but the back yard is still torn up. Tim and Liam have "volunteered" to fix it up while I am gone.....thank you guys. So, let's move on to this month's news.

It's too bad that the quality of these old photos are so bad.....great memories playing in the woods in log city, riding bikes down Bell Rd. and just plain getting dirty.
Well, here they are all cleaned up ready for Sunday Mass....not looking too happy though.

Carney Family Newsletter for February

 Keep on smiling through adversity

What adventures we had this week. So happy that one eye is done...on to eye #2 next week. Also, Amy had a very successful ablation procedure done yesterday and is doing well. So good news all around.
I had a horrendous week last week though. The evening of my eye surgery we had an bad ice storm and at 11:15pm the power went out. No power for 3 days. It was so cold in my house that I had to go up to Tim's on Saturday. To add insult to injury several large tree limbs came down...one in front of the garage and one hung up on my power line. DTE came and cut that limb down but (for a very large amount of money) I'm having the whole tree cut down.  What a week!

Here's me....freezing
