Carney Family Newsletter for October

Have a spooktacular Halloween

It's a rainy Halloween here in Michigan. It's scary out there even without the ghosts and goblins.
I hope everyone is well and staying away from those flu germs.
My favorite month is over and now November is upon us...ugh! Snow already in Kansas. I have Mike's visit to look forward to though and Thanksgiving!

 Happy Birthday
We are all sending birthday wishes your way Allison, on your special 21st birthday!

Kinzua Bridge State Park
Recently Jim and Mary Ann visited the Kinzua State Park and got to walk on the amazing Sky Walk Bridge. The bridge is 301 feet above the Kinzua Gorge. Mary Ann especially liked looking down where people looked like little ants.

Congratulations Sean
On your promotion to Lance Corporal!
 Enjoying lobster and steak.

Carney Family Newsletter for September

Fighting the Good Fight

I've been stricken down....by a virulent germ (see pic of germ below.)

The germ is still bouncing around in my chest, sinuses and head. Praying I will get better soon because in one day it will be October....my favorite month of the year.
I'm still waiting for some pictures of events from this month, so check those stories out next month if you please.
Jim and Mary Ann were here for their annual visit and we had an enjoyable time. Jim fixed my garage doors (thank you Jesus) and did some other stuff for me too. It reminded me of my Dad who would bring his little tool box when he visited to fix whatever needed fixed. I called it his traveling tool box. Anyway, thank you so much Jim for your help. I really appreciate it. Also a big thank you to Tim who single handedly tackled the jungle behind my garage....yikes, what a job.

Happy 18th Birthday You Guys

The guys have turned 18 and you can now address them as Mister. The youngest are now old enough to vote and we will have that discussion next year....lol

At the Detroit Riverwalk
We went downtown to the River Walk and enjoyed it...especially the ships.
Also, had our favorite ice cream (soft serve) and Jo Bobs. Always good to have them here...love re-telling childhood stories with Jim.

New Orleans!
Jacob and Allison just got back from a cruise (photos next month) but first they visited New Orleans. Here on Bourbon street, Allison said it smelled like food. Since both of them are cooks, food is always of interest.

Homecoming
Liam and his date, Sara, for Athens Homecoming and below with friends.....

TB
Well, I remember exactly when this picture was taken. Mike and with his fellow Marine friend, along with our friend Lisa Murphy (I wonder if she is still dancing)
The picture was taken at a Seduce show at Harpos

I am busily typing out my agenda for the next two months. Photos everyday I can in October, November Mike is coming for a visit and for Thanksgiving Sarah has invited me for dinner. So I have a lot to look forward to. Also, a Christmas trip to South Carolina for Christmas.....I am a lucky girl!
Until next month
